This is a really good place to get a really tasty burger. I had the Korean spicy BBQ chicken burger with Cajun chips. I am a massive fan of Asian flavours so this really hit the spot. The chicken was in a panko crumb and superbly crisp with delicious kimichi and slaw next to it. The chips are delightful, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would definitely go back to try some of the other burgers on offer. The restaurant is very small but I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing, and the staff were very friendly. It is a bit pricey but the portions are big and sometimes I don’t mind paying more for something proper tasty.
I am extremely picky and will usually find something to criticise, but we had an absolutely perfect evening here. I had only called to book a table here at around 1pm on the day and they missed my call and then returned the call straight after. So thank you. Food came out in good timing and was faultless, very generous portions. Chocolate cake was delish. Clare was very attentive, fab service. Thank you.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean with an amazingly designed interior, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Clare and John are so attentive and created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere perfect for a Sunday afternoon meal. The menu boasts a fantastic selection of food options, catering to all tastes. Their focus on great produce really shines through. I opted for the Korean chicken salad, and it was a perfectly balanced meal with the right amount of everything! My partner tried the Smoqe and bacon burger and it was cooked to perfection. We also had a side of slaw and cajun fries, which again, were great. The portion sizes are incredibly generous. The drinks selection is also excellent, offering a variety of choices. It’s clear that they prioritise quality in everything they do. Overall, SMOQE provides an exceptional dining experience. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere makes it a must-visit in Rochester. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu. We visited one evening and popped in with the hope of getting a table without booking. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and couldn't do enough to help. They were genuine people, and this definitely added to our experience. I was on a strict diet, and they helped cater to my needs without issue. Another plus! When the food arrived, I can honestly say it was one of the nicest burgers I have ever tasted. Everything was cooked with time and care, it certainly showed in every meal. We will definitely be back for more when next in Rochester. This is a real gem of a restaurant that needs the support of all! Highly recommended Update - we visited again 05.10.24 and had another fantastic meal. Salads were delicious and staff very friendly, just as our first visit. We'll definitely be back!
Wow! First time to Smoqe and won’t be the last! Stumbled across this absolute gem whilst looking around Rochester high street. I’ll be honest, I’m not normally one to stop at a burger restaurant but my husband fancied a burger so I obliged! So glad I did! The best burger I’ve had! The staff were so attentive and helped me with my choices! The burger was delicious! The Smokey taste of the meat was devine! And the bun didn’t fall apart either which is a real bugbear of mine normally! Love this place and will be back! Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely awesome lovely time catching up with colleagues. The food was splendid, the man who served us was very friendly and kind. The toilet facility was clean and cozy. Nice little place, wishing them success. I will definitely return
Had burgers with my family at Smoqe few times and it was delicious every time. We wouldn’t go to have burger anywhere else In Medway but there. Booking is easy and staff is amazing,nothing is too hard for them to make you feel comfortable and happy. Interiors are stylish and clean which is very important to us. We will definitely be back and i highly recommend this restaurant.
